Data Availability Statement

In accordance with the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable), [Journal Name] promotes the availability, transparency, and responsible reuse of research data.

Data Availability Statement

All manuscripts must include a Data Availability Statement that clearly specifies the availability of the data supporting the study’s results. This statement must indicate:

- The repository where the data are located (with a link and/or DOI).
- Access conditions (open, restricted, or upon request).
- Where applicable, the justified reasons for any restrictions.

Requirements for Clinical Trials

In accordance with the ICMJE, manuscripts reporting on clinical trials must include a statement regarding the sharing of individual participant data (IPD), specifying:

- What data will be shared.
- Whether additional documents (protocol, statistical analysis plan, etc.) will be included.
- When the data will be available and for how long.
- The criteria for granting access.

Data deposit and repositories

We strongly recommend depositing data in recognized public repositories that assign persistent identifiers (e.g., DOI) and ensure long-term preservation (e.g., Dryad, Figshare, Zenodo, institutional or subject-specific repositories). Data should comply with the FAIR principles to the greatest extent possible.

Ethics, Confidentiality, and Sensitive Data
Authors must ensure compliance with applicable ethical and legal regulations, particularly in research involving human subjects. Data containing personal or sensitive information must be appropriately anonymized. When sharing is not possible for ethical, legal, or contractual reasons, these must be clearly justified.

Materials, Code, and Reproducibility
To promote reproducibility, authors are requested to share, whenever possible, the protocols, instruments, supplementary materials, and code used in data analysis, preferably through open repositories or as supplementary material.

Ethical Responsibilities and Best Practices
In accordance with COPE guidelines, authors must ensure the integrity, accuracy, and availability of the reported data. Fabrication, manipulation, or withholding of data constitutes a serious ethical violation.

Exceptions and compliance
Exceptions to this policy must be duly justified. Non-compliance may result in rejection of the manuscript, requests for clarification, or post-publication actions, in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies.
