Self-Archiving Policy

The Revista Mexicana de Investigación Médica allows authors to self-archive their published works in order to promote their preservation, visibility, and dissemination.

Authors may deposit the final published version of the article in institutional, subject-specific, or open-access repositories, as well as in other academic information systems, provided that the complete bibliographic reference is retained and a link to the official version available on the Revista Mexicana de Investigación Médica website is included.

Self-archiving is permitted immediately upon publication of the article, with no embargo period. Authors must at all times comply with the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license under which the journal’s content is distributed.

Depositing in repositories must not alter the conditions of use, reproduction, or distribution established by said license. Furthermore, the corresponding attribution to the authors and the Revista Mexicana de Investigación Médica must be maintained, as well as the bibliographic reference and the link to the original publication.
