Open access policy
This is an open access journal, meaning that all its content is freely available to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without the need for prior permission from the publisher or the author, and without charging article processing charges (APCs) to authors for publication. This conforms to the BOAI definition of open access. It is published under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license; therefore, full or partial reproduction of the articles presented here is authorized, provided that the full source and its electronic address are cited.
Digital Preservation Policies
The Revista Mexicana de Investigación Médica, through OJS (Open Journal Systems), utilizes an archiving system that ensures its digital preservation.
PKP Preservation
The PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) provides free preservation services for any OJS journal that meets the basic criteria. In this regard, for digital preservation purposes, the articles of the Revista Mexicana de Investigación Médica are archived in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) to guarantee a permanent and secure archive for the journal.
Author Fees or Charges
The editorial process at the Revista Mexicana de Investigación Médica is free of charge; no fees are required from authors for the submission, processing, or publication of articles."
